That's basically Q's system, has been the style they've always played under him. He wants his dmen to focus more on stick checking, staying in the lanes and blocking shots over exerting the attempted force to battle guys more often out of the way.

Nope. No playing with an edge only finess. Hitting and grinding other players down doesnt do anything. Hawks have never won by taking advantage of some dirtiness or physicality. Ever. Never did it against the Blues last year..never did it against the Canucks in the past. Just keep with the game plan and go all finess because that seems to be working for the hawks finess players so far this series. I think kane has 3 shots this series right now?
