I have no problem with the header waived off but that rules wording is pure garbage. In that case all pucks that are "directed" by a skate should be disallowed. Not even with the kicking motion, but if you angle your skate to bounce the puck in, that's literally directing the puck off something other than your stick. Their verbiage is pretty bad.
