There's just no fucking reason for this team to be losing this series.

Yeah, Anaheim is a good team and certainly better than I may have given them credit for at the start of the season.

But too many of the things that are costing the Hawks in this series are self-induced. And now they're not even dressing the best lineup possible.

I'm still a firm believer that the PP will cost us this series. We are 2/13 on it this series. Need to start taking advantage of that at some point.

It'd be nice, but I don't think it's required. The Hawks once went 1-19 on the PP in a series. That series ended with them hoisting the Cup in Boston.

Sadly the PP is so bad right now I don't think it's going to improve much this late in the season. The entries are really the biggest problem. Hopefully by game 4 Q thinks TT and vermettes legs are "fresh". Just focus on keeping a net front presence and sustaining offensive zone time.

It's because that's what they do. They possess teh puck. As long as you have the puck you just get hit and it's cool. Their a puck possession team, not a goal scoring team. That's the problem.

Man advantage? Awesome, we're even more likely to keep the puck - It'S OUR FUCKING PUCK. If they put it into the net it's not their puck anymore. Don't you watch Blackhawks hockey? Hawks need to go for 330lbs Kessel in the offseason. Put him on a diet to become 400lbs and have him park in front of the opposing teams net and only go as far back as the neutral zone. It would take 3-4 ducks to move him. But Q would only bench him for Versteeg.
