3rd and 4th lines are looking real good. Will be scary if the 1st/2nd line can get it going...and it will be needed for the rest of the playoffs. Was glad to see Crawford close the door and have a nice little bounce back performance.

Wasn't the prettiest game, especially the first period, but a solid win.

Why dont these offcials just give the Wild a goal and maybe we can move along with the game.

Unfortunately the Blackhawks deserved those penalties. Thought the refs did just fine in tonight's game. Playoff hockey.

Oh, yeah!! Just like Playoff football, Playoff Baseball, Playoff basketball......ooops, my bad...those are sports that actually call their games the same way all season long. Certainly can't compare them to the NHL.

Umm what they do? Never seems to be that way with the NBA reviewing every questionable otbs call and having "hard fouls" that aren't flagrants in a playoff game.

Doesn't the mlb.add replays and extra officials... Buts that not different.

Aside from the NFL, you're just gunning to some point without noting a thing about the other leagues.

The intensity level that the NHL goes to with the playoffs is pretty amazing. The players are able to find those extra gears and definitely play more physical. The refs have been fine.

In terms of Baseball, that is hard to change but I think things even tighten up there. Same goes with Football and Basketball.

It's the playoffs. Players are playing more physical, teams see eachother every other night, and the games mean more.

You are kidding with this line of reasoning, arent you? First, the NBA video reviews are used all season...not just in the playoffs. But even if they didnt, they still officiate the games the same whether its the Finals or a Christmas Day game. Im not talking about replays or extra officials...Im talking about how the NHL and ONLY the NHL has two different sets of rules their officials use. Regular season and playoffs. They call it Playoff Hockey. What it is...is bullshit and its been bullshit for many years. It allows lower echelon teams to play competively with teams that are better. Is that a bad thing? That's up for debate but any league that plays by two sets of rules will never be considered anything more than a league tetering between reality and the WWE.

Actually its not two sets of rules....it's two different interpretations of the same rules. Anyone who can't see it happening nightly in the Stanley Cup playoffs needs to borrow some of Stevie Wonder's glasses.

And you're saying NBA refs don't call flagrants differently with adjusting to so called legal hard fouls?

Game 4 Blackhawks at Wild IGT (Blackhawks lead 2-1) 8:30 PM CT CSN/NBC Sports N

I have DirectTV. I was watching the end of the Pens-Isles game on the NBC Sports channel, then they switched to the start of the Blackhawks game. After 3 minutes, my TV screen goes black and I'm told "You're game has been blacked out..", so I switch to Fox Sports Chicago...and they are showing the FUCKING WHITE SOX GAME! The Fox Sports alternate channel that supposedly has the Hawks game is also a black screen, so I missed the first 10 minutes of the 1st period because of Fox Sports. Can we just take the White Sox off the air?

i believe both baseball teams should be taken off the air like yesterday.

But the Cubs have the hot chicks in the bleachers... Maybe they could film the fans? :troll:
