We need a BIG improvement at the CAM position, sorry Paladini, Linpere, Alex or even Rolfe are not the answer to that problem. If we are going to wait to the July window it will be to late (it might be already to late), we have a player on loan that could help us out right now. Bring back Grazzini and see what happens...
List of what we need to make this team a contender.
#1 FORWARD......We need a forward that could hold the ball, keep possesion, be able to pass the ball, be able to shoot and put the keeper under pressure and be able to put the ball into the net. We don't have anybody close to that, we have Rolfe, but Frankie has him playing more in the middle field than uptop.
#2 CAM.....We need a player like Higuian of Columbus. Did anybody watch the CLB/DC game, he's so cold with the ball. He's not scared, even when their are 3 players around him, he makes a quick pass and get is right back and off he goes. We don't have anybody on the current roster that can be that kind of player, so that's why I say bring back Grazzini. He would be an 1000% improvement to who we have now.
#3 RB....Sorry, Anibaba, Videria, Thompson, Pause and Kinney are not the answer at right back. I could live with Kinney because I think he's the best of the 5 players, he could defend and good at going forward. So I hope if and when he's healthy, he's the one that's starting, not Pause just because he's been with the team for 11 season and he's been the captain for the last two season's....
Frankie NEEDS to start giving Atouba more time (he needs to start other team start their young players), with Nyarko and Atouba on the wings I think we would put alot of pressure on the the other team RB,RM,LB and LM players. Then throw in Grazzini I think we could be a team that would put some fear into the other teams...
Oh well, we do have Frankie a our coach. He'll go back to a 4-2-3-1 two defensive mdifield (with one of them being Pause).
With our current roster and evrybody healthy this is what I would like Frankie to put out.....
