I agree...at his age, taking a year off due to injury, that is one hell of a thing to come back from. He isn't moving the same way that he used to and it probably isn't fair to expect that from him. However, atleast in my opinion, the Blackhawks paid a price based on how he used to play and it just isn't happening. If he can stabilize some things and play smart back there, then I'm fine with it. The way the Blackhawks are signing college UFA and other UFA prospects, I'm not too worried about losing a draft pick here or there by taking a chance...especially when they are going for the Cup.
