Well in theory this was gonna be the last shot. I have no problems with Rose going one on one to win a game. I have zero trust in Hinrich to make a game winner, even if he's wide open. Rose I still have a lot of confidence in making a contested midrange jumper (what I assume he would've have shot if he didn't turn the ball over). Yes, he probably should not have forced his way to the middle like he did (I noted originally that he probably should've gone right). Butler probably should've also made a move to get open so Rose had an outlet when the defense collapsed.

yeah had he passed it to kirk it would have been a theoretical last shot still. and I get what youre saying about trusting rose more to make a game winner. as I watched it develop, I just felt it was the "basketball play" to make, it called for the pass to the corner to kirk...you just have to take the wide open look, plus kirk hit 35 % from 3 this year, not horrible

Yeah I see what you're saying. Kirk just doesn't have a good track record in the clutch so I'd rather see Rose take the shot. The real problem on that play was Rose dribbling into 3 defenders though.

I don´t get why Thibs didn´t use the Rose,Butler,Snell,Gibson,Noah lineup which clearly is our best possible.

That lineup played so well in game 3 but I can´t remember it being used much today.

Forget who should have taken the last shot for the Bulls. Ugly.
Derrick allowed that in bound pass score like he wanted to let him score. Ugly.

Bulls in 5.

That was probably the worst game the Bulls have played in months, and yet, they almost still won. Way too sloppy and careless with the ball.

Milwaukee did deserve to win one game in this series, but why embarrass yourself with confetti and streamers after a playoff win in the 1st round? That was hilarious and reflects the inferiority complex the Bucks have when it comes to the Bulls.

Except Middleton was already in that area before Butler made that (useless) cut so that wasn't really his fault necessarily. That was a bad cut though...if anything he should've gone the other way, but I guess he was trying to spot up for 3 on the right wing or something.

Everyone complaining about the streamers.... how long has it been since they won a playoff game? I mean wasn't that their super bowl?

The Bulls are going to get absolutely raped by Cleveland in the next round. Outside of Game 1, I think they've looked like shit all series. They're just lucky to be playing a far more inferior team. They can't continue playing like they have against the Bucks and expect to get by Cleveland. The amount of TOs have been ridiculous.

this is the playoffs they should not be playing down to their competition
In 2011, they played down to the Pacers. They played similarily in Game 4 and nearly won that game as well. They then blew out the Pacers in Game 5 by 27 points and no one batted an eye.

Niko was back and Snell was shit.

Noah was also equally shitty.

But, I didnt like the Niko at SF lineup. Thibs completely ignored that Jared Dudley was out there in this game (In Game 3 he eventually adjusted to that). Some usual Thibs stubbornness in Game 4.

Tons of usual over reaction as usual after this game.

exactly...literally the only thing people should truly be worried about is the turnovers IMO. but they have turned the ball over at a high rate all year long so I don't think its going to suddenly change, unfortunately. if they could just average like 12 a game even they would be an extremely difficult team to beat

We need to clean up all these turnovers before the next round.

Both Rose & Jimmy have allowed their guys to score at critical stages of the last couple games.

Rose went from being hero to villain in 4 plays. First he hit the 3 to bring us within 2, then he sent a great pass to Gasol to tie the game, then he got stripped on a potential game winner, & then he lost his man that went on to score the game winner ... lol.

I know that Jimmy was very hot, but I'm not sure that I can argue against the decisions by Thibs in the last minute of the game.
