But this streakiness is why I cannot get behind him being an elite goaltender.

These periods of total average to mediocre play mixed with stretches of dominance are to inconsistent for me.

The shit all started with the first goal and if I remember correctly it was a screen shot between Keith and Seebs with Carter in front. Why the **** wasn't Carter on his ass? Was that Crows fault? Is all the pathetic fucking zone clearing Crawfords fault? The same shot was happening the first two series. I am not giving crow a pass but the god damned defense needs to step the **** up...

But great goalies erase mistakes in from of them. It is not all on Crawford, but he has played poorly this series and we are 4 games into it. That is a pretty long stretch of mediocre play.

How is he supposed to make the saves if he never sees the puck because his defensemen aren't clearing the crease?

Crawford has certainly played better in the past, yes. But he's getting zero help.

I guess the goalie is the convenient target, but I don't know how you watch the last 3 games that the Hawks have lost and decide that Crawford is the first name you point out for having a poor series.

Absolutely true. What drives me nuts is that most of the goals are on unscreened shots. And also are on his blocker side. It almost as though
he wants them to shoot toward his glove side but they don't.
