The Pacers can piss off, maybe they can use the off season to hone their mixed martial arts skills since they seem to have more future there than in basketball.
It was a great win but we cannot expect them to play like this. 14 3s wont happen every night. Keith Bogans wont play like that often. What we saw from Noah and Rose we can count on.
Limiting the TOs, making FTs/3s and playing solid D is what really made the difference.
But if we want to continue to win, Boozer has to show up, period. I dont want to hear about foul trouble and getting into a rhythm. He's missing point blank shots at the rim. Hes having stupid fouls on both end. Hes doing nothing but running his mouth. If we want to go far, he must be a major contributor.
But big shout out to Bogans tonight who knew he needed to step up with Rose's bad ankle. Deng played really well outside of letting Granger get going here and there. Watson, Gibson, Korver all solid off the bench. Lets try to keep it up fellas!
BULLS GAIN A POINT A MINUTE WITH NOAH ON THE COURT
From Elias: The Bulls advanced to the Eastern Conference semifinals with a 116-89 victory over the Pacers in which Chicago outscored Indiana by 34 points in Joakim Noah's 32 minutes of playing time. (Do the math and you'll notice that the Pacers topped the Bulls by seven points with Noah on the bench.) It was the first time that the Bulls outscored their opponent by at least one point per minute of playing time by any of its starters in a playoff game since - you guessed it - Michael Jordan was plus-37 in a 36-minute performance against Indiana in the 1998 Eastern Conference Finals.
