Do you not know how sarcasm works? I don't mind Shaw, but at what point does he STOP taking stupid penalties. Especially when the Hawks don't need them....
And Shaw is far from "great".

Agreed, Shaw is a role player and a good one at times, but he is far from Marian Hossa or Jonathan Toews.

Shaw is a solid player. But like everyone else has stated he takes an absurd amount of unnecessary penalties. And in this series you may as well just give the kings another goal when we get in the box.

Exactly. Especially in crucial times. I think his first penalty was when the Hawks trailed 2-0 and were in the Kings Zone for a bit... Then Boom.

Yes.... idk whats hurt but he is oddly awful.
Also I agree with Dews, Hossa might be hurting as well.... he has often been a non-factor when on the ice.

Sharp for sure but I think Hossa is okay, actually, for the first time in his Hawks' postseason career. Leading the team in points this postseason.

I really think this game is as simple as the Hawks staying out of the box.
LA's power play is clicking at a historic rate and I don't think any PK in the NHL would stop it right now. It's just too good.
But a ton of the advanced statistics say that the Hawks have held a slight edge at even-strength in this series. Keep the play at 5-on-5 and I think the momentum from playing at home will be enough to get them the win.
Then we can all lose our minds over Game 6.

Its very tough to repeat in any sport, hockey included. The Kings right now are the better team. Better goalie, more disciplined defense, bigger,
and better special teams.
