Now you just need to find a way to photoshop the net out of the way.

That's what I meant when I said that the goalie for the Hawks shouldn't matter. They have two more-than-adequate options. If the defense plays like it should, either one can get the job done.

Exactly. Also the reason why they don't need to commit 5-6 million dollars to that position.

Problem is the defense doesn't always play like it should. When that's the case who do you want between the pipes to bail you out, Crawford or Michael Leighton? There will always be a Rosival on D, or a younger version.

As for trading Crow this offseason, have we seen enough of Darling? The cap room would sure be nice.

Michael Leighton? No the defense doesn't always play like it should but obviously Darling can, at least at times, play above them. Like most goalies can at the pro level, for at least brief periods of time. But it's not something you want to continually depend on. Because if it is, it won't matter who is in net for you, you won't be going very far. You can't expect the goalie to carry you all the time. We've seen examples of that from both Darling and Crawford in this series.

Thats the wildest/strangest/ how in the what happening of a series I've been a part of as spectator.

2 time and reigning Jennings Trophy winner and Stanley Cup winning goalie lays the pooch for one period. Coach shakes up a 3-0 game with nothing to lose, resting his player who drove them hard down the homestretch. Of course goes back to Crawford, who gets decimated on the road for 6 goals...gotta go with the rook who have you 4 clean sheet periods.

So rook comes in and wins 2 more games, before the Predators who are a very good team this year, crack his code and start netting everything. Or rather, drop 5 on him on the road. But he earned it, you go back to him,

And then he gives up 3 in a first period, the same reason Crawford got benched (only Crawford was on the road), and what do you know but he gives you 2.5 clean sheets and wins the game.

Now you enter the next series with Crawford like it never happened? Or both your goalies are looking over their shoulder when they are in? crazy. I mean 3 goals in the first period just doesn't even happen to this team once but twice?
