Hard to take. But, they will have to come back with a vengeance next season. Blow the lead as many times as they did tonight, and the result was always going to be the same.

I don't like when fans complain about announcers being one-sided, because they do complain about that every series in every sport. Often both sides complaining at the same time.

But this was unreal. It isn't like they praised the crap out of LA in games 2, 3 and 4. I am talking about Games 5 and 6 which we won! And Game 7, we were lucky, their penalties were ticky tack, etc. I hate to join in on the complaints about announcers, but I truly think this series was unbelievably one sided.

One thing I'm pleased about is that the NHL could have had a TV ratings bonanza with Chicago vs NY....now they get LA pumping out 3 shares. LOL

What shocked me is that the hawks had fantastic chances to end it early in OT. But no, the kings drop the puck in our zone flip it to the point and Tyler "***** eyes" Taffoli gets a deflection on it. If taffoli doesn't touch the puck it sails over the net.

The team just needs to rest up and have some retooling done by Stan Bowman and company to be even stronger next year.

I think the Blackhawks will get rid of Johnny Oduya, Sheldon Brookbank, and Michal Handzus. Raanta's future is still up in the air. I think they call up Teuvo Teravainen some point this offseason or next season.

Pleased to see that this thread hasn't devolved into trade/fire/release everyone.

Cheers.

Well, like every off season, there will be some moves made, especially to get the speed back up to par, Saad was a pleasant improvement..the PP simply has to improve, don't know if it's strategy or players, but the average has to be better imo..

Interesting question, really.
What do you think he is?

I like him a lot personally as a player. Gets the puck on net and is relatively responsible defensively, though he had a bad playoffs.

I'm glad we didn't lose in the finals. I might have died if that happened

Except we wouldn't have. I think the Kings take the Rangers down in 5. Hope I'm wrong though

I think Seabrook is a player that benefits greatly from having Duncan Keith as his D partner.

Not that he's necessarily a bad player, but I'm not sure if I can call him "good" after the way he played this year.

Oduya should stay IMO
