It is short, 4 factions of information. I explained why, and I'll repeat, because when there is a big game, the site loads slower due to traffic, and those who just want to get settled with basic information, or someone who visits on a cell phone, now they leave CCS for that quick info or they leave frustrated with the site. In short, it is not impressionable. If there is one thing I know, it's forums. I can teach classes about forums, the software, SEO, ect. Maybe you should ask your journalism teacher if they need help teaching that class, if their expertise is reaching to forums. LOL /end harsh assholeness, sorry TCF :)

I think all that's need is IGT date: away team vs. home team

That's all I'm saying. I don't think network is needed especially when lots of people outside of chicago are on the forum.

Hey Crys -- mind if I copy/pasta this for Rush's other forum after some alterations?

For you X, of course.

Thx man. We're going to spam the scout/rival forums hard on Saturday morning -- and we're making IGTs for every ACC game on Saturday -- and we want the IGTs to look legitimate and appealing in hopes that some ppl stick. But when I've tried to explain how to make a nice IGT, I get:

"Duke Vs. Belmont - Discuss!"

I'm going to make all of them for this saturday just to show some variation, unless someone over there wants to step up and try one...but overall I want them to look appealing.

Good luck to you X. You can't force people to do things efectively. But using a good suggestion to show them how self interest works pertaining to effective game threads helps a lot. If they want a lot of views and activity in their thread, without acting like attention whoring trolls(which only invites more attention whoring trolls), this is a good guide. It's not the end all, but the concepts to what and why, were the points I was trying to make.

Oh yeah, I agree completely, but ACCSN is relatively new, and this weekend we're planning on trolling a shitload of places to get people to the forum, and want the IGTs to look nice enough to entice ppl to at least check it out.

You should check it out, btw....and ya know...maybe sign up...and post often... :shifty:
