The Knicks are in tank mode, there is no way we're losing this game. Zero chance.

For you guys who dont know me from other message boards, i hate the knicks with a passion. This will be a high scoring affair since neither team plays D.

We should take this game. Anyone else really enjoying watching Nate Robinson play? You can just tell the guy loves the game, every possession he seems to go all out.

and lmao at that Duhon picture, he sorta looks like T-Mac

I think the Bulls will win. They outclass the Knicks in talent, and the Bulls will be at home to boot.

When I played this game today on NBA 2k9, Tyrus Thomas had 64 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 blocks as the Bulls blew out the Knicks.

I predict something like a 122 to 104 Bulls win.

Mike D'antoni said it best "the best thing about Nate is he doesnt mind shooting, the bad thing is Nate doesnt mind shooting"

The Knicks are always a good matchup for us since we have guys capable of running the floor just like they do. Rose is going to have a huge game.

When someone says, this such and such team is in tank mode, they go out and win a game to show that they are not.

That is exactly what Knicks did against Raptors yesterday.

However, Bulls should win this game and hopefully in a blowout.

I want to see Rose's FIRST 30pt and 15 assists game tomorrow vs Knicks. :cheer:

I'm gonna be honest fellas, this game concerns me a bit. If we were playing Atlanta, I would honestly feel better.

Seems that we get these games where we know we have more talent and should win, yet we mix two good quarters with two really bad quarters and make a game out of it. One thing about DanTony's Knicks: They are never out of a game early. They can put the points up so effing fast. I'm anticipating us needing to score about 110-115 to win.

I have seen plenty of Knicks games where they were out in the first 2 qtrs so don't know what are you saying there.

Also, I would feel a lot more nervous if we were facing Hawks than Knicks. Knicks will live and die by shooting jumpers and some very very questionable shots.

Since it's at home, I feel a little better but if it was on the road, I would be a little worried.

I guess the way I see it is that they can very easily put up a 40 point quarter. That makes them dangerous, much like the suns are (and were when DanTony was there). We may have a 17 point halftime lead, but how often have we seen this team come out in the 3rd and lay an egg. A 17 point bulls halftime lead could turn into a 5 point defect very easily if the Knicks get hot.

But I will agree with you, they do take questionable (ok, stupid) shots far too often. They live and die by it. Its what can allow them to make up a 20 point gap very quickly, or at the same time, blow a 20 point lead.

Agree. They can put a 40pt qtr in a hurry so we need to be careful. But they also will give up like 42 points in a qtr.

I just hope BG is hot and hope Rose picks apart knicks to threads.

It will be an entertaining game for sure though.

The Knicks are 11-27 on the road. The Hawks actually aren't much better on the road at 14-24, but I don't know how you could ever prefer to play a pretty good team instead of a really bad one.

Home game = win.

The bulls have been very good at home, I think most of these disappointing games you think about are road losses.w

This is a must win if we want to stay ahead for the 7th seed and stay in the picture for the sixth seed. Philly is really banged up and has a hard schedule down the stretch. Its not inconceivable that they lose out. As far as NY, they are done for the year and should only be playing for their shots, if we can get them uninterested early, it should be a pretty easy game.

Your probably right Doug. I suppose the difficult part about this year has been our consistent "playing down to the competition". Its beating a dead horse, but even with Skiles a few years back, we put the hammer to bad teams, and would hold our own against the elite. Sure we lost some games to crappy teams, but then we won a few games we shouldn't have either. This year I have witnessed this bulls team beat some very solid playoff bound teams, only to get beaten by teams 15-20 games below .500 (including a blowout loss at Washington). But I suppose one of the key factors to these issues has been playing good teams at home, bad teams on the road. As you said, home game = win. Lets hope that stays true come tomorrow night.

Cool's keys to Victory:

1: Rebound - you can't run if you can't rebound.

2: Transition Defense.

3: Control their 3pt shooting.

They jack up 3s left and right and they know of no such thing as a bad shot so they will be running after every rebound and run to the other court and take turns to jack up a shot. So we need to get back and stop their transition shooting and make them play half court.

Should be good enough to win this game.

Is it wrong that I picked up Duhon in my championship finals for fantasy?

I mean, going by the numbers, he's the best available, but I just feel so dirty picking up a player because Rose isn't the best defender

I like your keys, I would just add that we have to get to the basket, they have poor defenders and no shot blockers. Rose should end up with at least highlights dunks and Dan Tony shaking his head.

I don't know if anyone if you guy's are actually following the Knicks, but they are nowhere near worthy. I certainly hope this is not one of those disaster games, where you lead by 39 at the end of the 3rd, and end up tanking, yourself.

Look for BG7 to heat with in front of his home-court. D'Antoni will surely be a coaching problem.
