He didn't draft the longhorn Aldridge. And he didn't draft the republican Hawes. Two critical bad moves. Spencer is having a better career than Noah. Aldridge is on the rise. Both of these guys are skilled big men. And we're stuck with moe and larry. Give me a break dude.

Wow just wow. You seriously need to watch a Kings game one in a while. Hawes has been terrible the past two seasons. Noah is far more superior. I agree with the Aldridge comment but seriously your just making stuff up on the Hawes vs Noah issue.

Proof is in the stats.

Thomas over Aldridge is probably a mistake (over Roy, even a bigger mistake). I don' think that Aldridge is all that great, but he's a lot steadier than Thomas.

Joakim Noah is a lot better player than Spencer Hawes.

Joakim Noah - 6.7 PPG on 59.4 TS% vs. Spencer Hawes - 11.4 PPG on 50.9 TS%

Whose better? Noah didn't score very much, but had a great efficiency. Hawes scored double figures, but on a crap efficiency.

Joakim Noah - 7.6 RPG vs. Spencer Hawes - 7.1 RPG

And that is with Joakim Noah playing 5 less minutes per a game than Yee Hawes.

Joakim Noah - 1.4 BPG vs. Spencer Hawes - 1.2 BPG

Noah is clearly the better shotblocker.

Joakim Noah - 123 O-Rtg vs. Spencer Hawes - 98 O-Rtg

Noah's team was elite offensively when he was on the court, while Hawes' wasn't good at all.

Joakim Noah - 106 D-Rtg vs. Spencer Hawes 113 D-Rtg

Noah's team was average when he was on the court defensively, while Hawes' team was bad when he was out there on the defensive end.

O-Rtg/D-Rtg Differential: Noah: +17 vs. Hawes: -15 Swing: +32 in favor of Noah

Win Shares: Noah - 6.5 vs. Hawes - 0.8

Offensive Win Shares: Noah: 3.8 vs. Hawes: -0.4
Defensive Win Shares: Noah: 2.7 vs. Hawes: 1.2

So yes, let's knock Paxson for correctly taking Noah over Hawes.

no one answered the question! Gasol to the Bulls?

I like Gasol in the limited amount I've seen him, but I don't see him being available.

What's going on with this?? They said there should be an announcement by the end of the week, and now its been 2 weeks.

Haven't heard a single comment out of Paxson/Foreman/Rein$dorf since the season ended.

We're are starving for some news here!

If we give them 16 pick it gives them another pg who could challenge Conley for the job.

Gar Forman should be named GM sometime in the next few days, and John Paxson should be named the President of the team, or some role that makes him the de facto president of the team, even though I believe he already is the de facto president of the team...yes, the Bulls front office situation is messy.

I think that John Paxson will be the one making the final decisions.

I saw somewhere pointing to how Larry Bird was president and Donnie Walsh was GM in Indiana.

When was this announced?
Its been pasted round for awhile but KC Johnson said it in his last mailbag.

An official announcement is expected next week. The situation is fluid, although the last time I checked, I was told the changes would be minor and that Gar merely would be adding a title to reflect his growing role in the organization. It’s also possible the Bulls could add a front-office hire. Gar has played a major role in all of the recent major decisions the organization has made, from the coaching search to the BG and Deng negotiations to the trade. Most organizations have many voices aiding the ultimate basketball decision-maker and many also have someone in Pax’s role with a fancy title and then a GM who deals more with agents, media, etc. Think the Michael Jordan/Rod Higgins combo in Charlotte or the previous setup in New Jersey for many years with Rod Thorn and Kiki Vandeweghe.
