I think he is but I guess you could make an argument another way.

on this bulls team, kirk is definately in the top 5.

in it's current structure, it's strange that a back up guard could be the third best player on the team. we might see a rose kirk salmons deng miller lineup this year. it's going to be interesting.

1.Rose
2. salmons
3. the old version of deng/kirk
4 kirk/ the recent play of deng?
5. brad miller
6. benny the bull
7. noah.
8. tyrus
9. pargo
10. maybe the rookies?
11. gray. he has a nice skill set. he's just too damn slow.

Outside of Rose, is anyone else a top 3 player on a playoff team? I don't think so. Kirk certainly wasn't top 5 last year, Rose, BG, Noah, Salmons and Miller were all better.

i'd rather have kirk on my team than noah. noah played well in the playoffs. kirk played pretty well throughout the season.

He was very effective through the first 30 games. I would much rather have a noah on his rookie deal than kirk on his big deal. Noah was also really coming into his own at the end of the year.

Looking ahead to this season, my projection would be

Better players for sure (or we're in real trouble): Rose, Noah
Maybe better, maybe worse: Deng, Salmons, Tyrus
Probably worse: Miller
Certainly worse: Pargo, the rookies & the scrubs

So I'd have him in the 3-6 range.

I don't know about Noah over Kirk as a basketball player just yet. I have to see Noah do what he did in the playoffs consistently before I go there. What is sad about this is that Tyrus should easily be #2, if not #1 by now. He is just frustrating...

Well if we're just going to go off their play of last season I'll have Kirk ahead of Rose. Obviously I'm projecting ahead, and I think Noah's play for most of the season + the playoffs puts him as the second best guy on the team at this point.

Well, I hope Noah lives up to the expectations, I heard he has been working out at a freakish level in the weight room. I hope he turns into an absolute beast.

He really turned it around after putting in the work after his freshman year.

Ugh, Boozer. I think I'd rather have Tyrus. I have this flashback to when we played the Jazz a couple years ago and Gooden had a career game scoring 20+ points on Boozer in the first half alone! Anyone else remember this? Yes, Gooden did that... Hey- he's available too! For the right price, I'd give him a try, but I would have very LOW expectations if he came here (Boozer, I mean).
