Not sure if I'd call it a complete **** up. He put his stick down and in good position to stop the puck on a ring around and the puck went over his stick(funky bounce) from bad ice .........Goal :shrug:ity:

That happens. The fuckup was him not getting back in his net ready to make a stop. Franson caught him napping.

I like this thing Q has been doing lately when, on the first shift after a PK, he throws Toews out there with Kane and Panarin on his wings. Good to get those guys on the ice after they sit for two minutes during the PK.

Lately? The Toews part has happened a bit but not always, though it's nothing new at all.

it's been consistent that post a PK shift, Panarin-AA-Kane were together with sometimes Toews still being between them but for years that was the MO & too often it was baffling how announcers, even edzo, wouldn't really see the constant trend of it and let people talk like it's Q mixing up the lines at this point of the game. Sharp-Toews-Kane was the combo right out of PKs as often as Q could put it out there for years. He would even end PKs often with Hossa/(someone else) often Saad or whoever the 5th Pker was at the time to make that work that Toews was rested to play the shift with those two offensive wingers.
