I’m not sure how much more obvious that these guys could careless to listen to JC. It’s been the same mistakes since JC was hired that is happening in the D-Zone. Either the system sucks, the players do not trust it, or they don’t trust JC.Something has to give cause the breakdowns that are happening are youth level mistakes

Detroit has moderately improved.
They are about even with us considering their goaltending advantage, imo.
I'd like to remove DeHaan from the defense, reduce Boqvist to a power play and 3rd pairing minimum playing time role, or even invent a position for him as the 12th forward roamer. At some point you have to realize you can't ask him to protect the goal, he isn't strong enough. He might not ever be, but he belongs on the ice. IMO...use your advanced analystics and invent a role for him that hides him and gives him zone entry and scoring opportunities, and if you hide him for 60 minutes he is lethal on the powerplay as the second defender next to a shut down one.
