Fleury owes Toews bigtime.

We gotta make sure we resign the goalposts.

Glad to get the win!

Goalposts for the W.
Dach needs to shoot the puck, and I think the Strome experience has run its course. Hope Murphy is not out too long.

Seriously so much apathy watching this team play. They are even winning now. And the game wasn't horrible but it still just seems so much all for nothing that is hard to generate any kind of excitement.

Great win but Toews still doesn't have a single goal this season. He wins faceoffs... which is nice...but dear Lord...ZERO goals? The worst defensemen score every now and then. This is alarming and sad. Embarrassing.

It wasn't always pretty, but they beat a damn good team.
Exactly. I'm just glad this team looks like an actual NHL team again. They're not an absolute train-wreck. If they lost the lead like they did last night under Colliton, it was pretty much over. At least now they're playing smart (for the most part) and competitive hockey and do not look out of place against top teams. Even against Calgary, they looked solid. Jones is starting to be the Jones we all thought we were getting; same with Fleury, who is playing lights-out. Hopefully Kubalik will open the flood gates after scoring last night. Maybe it's just wishful thinking on my part, but the Hawks finally look like they're starting to gel. I'm not completely sold on them yet, but at least they look like they belong in the NHL again.

He did have a post in the game. That was a Toews-of-old move to get that chance too, which was great to see, but too bad he couldn't finish it.

Well, I will eat crow and say, I never expected the Hawks to win last night.

Squeezing that stick a little to hard, he will put one in soon.
