This game is going to be amazing. I'm really looking forward to Horde 2.0. Gears 2 horde mode was so addicting, and it looks like they made it even more so with this one. This will be the first of the Gears of War games that will use dedicated servers, so that's pretty exciting. I may actually get into Gears on a competitive level with this one because of the dedicated servers.

as you will. There are those small handful of games that one can play all the time. Gears will probably take me away from COD as I prefer Gears all day long over COD.

ears of War 3 drops Sept. 20, but Microsoft and Epic Games want you to think even further ahead. The game will have a variety of post-release DLC, and players who purchase the game's newly announced Season Pass will get access to the first four add-ons as well as an exclusive Liquid Metal weapons set.

The Season Pass will set you back 2,400 Microsoft, or about $30, saving players who buy it 33 percent over the cost of buying each DLC pack individually. The pass will be available the day the game launches. There's no word on what the upcoming DLC will include, but Microsoft says the first pack will go live this November.

horde is fucking awesome! you have to make sure you have the time available as it can go on for hours!

Not sure if i'm gonna pick this game up. Looks good, but there are a lot of other great games coming out around the same time as Gears.

Graphics:Unreal Engine 3 still looks great, and this is the flagship title for the engine that has dominated this console cycle

Sound:The louder you crank it, the better Gears 3 sounds. This is a game meant for the full audiovisual experience

Playability:The controls haven’t changed, but Epic has gotten better at not making the A button stick you to cover you didn’t intend it to

Entertainment:If you like shooters, this is as every bit as good a choice as Call of Duty, Battlefield, or Halo

Damn, no one here has played this? The game is amazing. Horde mode has me hooked, no lag in competitive modes like Team Deathmatch(etc), and the campaign is great. Game of the Year so far.

If anyone here plays this, add Warp1ay and lets get some games in.

i cant get enough of horde. you have to be playing with the right type of players though, some of these guys suck

the campaign was pretty sick....the ending caught me off guard a little bit.
