I know this is an old thread, but I have looked at this game and was wondering if it is it best to play the whole series before Gears of War 3?

I say yes...(but dont have to)
the story goes from 1 to 2 and ends with 3.....
Now the new gears is a prequel to all the games....(cant wait)
BTW just bought this on ebay for $16.50 with free shipping...
