Can someone explain to me how both of those work?

I was just going to say rolling, but if you fellas are that vested in this thing...I am down with FAAB.

We could do without the condescending tone from the worst mod on CCS

Thanks

FAAB you are given a set budget (typically $100) during the waiver period teams put in a blind bid for the players they want. Highest bid wins. Once you run out of funds, you have to wait for players to clear waivers to pick them up, unless we allow a $0 bid (which I am against).

Rolling is after the draft the waiver priority is the reverse of the draft order (the 12th pick has the top priority, the first pick has the last priority). When you submit a waiver claim, you get moved to the last priority, those who don't make a successful claim move up in priority until they do make a successful claim.

With FAAB it's all about managing a budget throughout the year, with rolling you make a week to week decision on if it is worth using your priority. In the past for me, I would hold onto my waiver priority as long as I could to get that top priority. In hopes that if a top RB goes down with an injury I am guaranteed to get the backup.

I'm good with either waiver system, but if a bunch havent done FAAB this would be a great way to get experience with it.

It adds a whole different element to the game...being able to look at what you opponents needs are and what type of budget they are working with to outbid them. It's awesome to outbid someone by a dollar for a player....also nothing more frustrating than being outbid by a dollar.

Only one league I am in doesnt use FAAB and the rosters are so large fa activity is pretty minimal.

@zack54attack @Stephen_Roto I noticed we don't have an IR slot enabled. Can we put this to a vote? I think having one IR slot for injuries/suspensions is crucial.

Wtf is an IR slot? Like a place to stash an injured player? I think we have plenty of bench spots for that already.
Whomever has Karen Hunt certainly loves your lame ideas...
Literally amateur hour.

It's not my fault there's 47 bench slots, not a single person asked for my opinion on bench size. It's a 12 team league and there's literally 47 bench slots, obviously I'm not okay with that. I think somebody might have even drafted a retired Andrew Luck just because that's better than drafting a literal turd throw in round 40, have some dignity people, where's your class?

Not having an IR slot is barbaric IMO.

Basically----Everyone with Gordon, Elliott, Hunt and Hill love this idea of adding another player.

Or, you know, anyone that has a player that gets injured throughout the season, which will be everyone

No on the IR slot. Draft players that aren't hurt.

IR spot wouldn't be able to be used for SSPD players. Only out or doubtful.

We have two million bench spots. No need for IR
