We gave Ben lottery pick minutes to prove himself. He launched some stats, got comfortable in the scheme, shot us into a lot of losses(those we forget about to easy) and he shot us into some epic comebacks(those were awesome, and I'm glad some of you want to remember him for that).
But he went to Detroit, didn't get the same instant minute scenario. He sucked when his team asked him to play smart basketball. He wouldn't play defense, he still bitched and moaned about not starting, he couldn't beat out a "washed up" Tracy McGrady for minutes, and provided almost no matchup advantage for Detroit, who is loaded with veterans and defenders. He should thrive as a Piston.
I'm sorry. I miss the old BG7, and we're never going to see the old BG7. The only Ben Gordon that remains in the NBA, is the diva player that hates the Bulls, one of the top 10 organizations in the NBA for the last 30 years for telling him the truth(not a starter, not worth all-star money).
