I knew Caleb Williams was a bust when I saw him get pasted by ND in college. Not “thought”, “knew”. Remember that this time next year when you’re asking how it all went so wrong with Mr. Generational.

That’s cute, I’m glad you admit to brain damage

You’re the one who sits here watching the same movie for the tenth time in a row thinking the ending is gonna be different.

I posted this in the playoff IGT, but I think Darnold gets a contract very similar to what Baker got last year from he Bucs, which is 3 years, 100 million.

As bad as Darnold looked over the last two (important) games, he still had a great season overall. There are a projected 6-7 teams that will be in need of a QB, and there won't be 6 QBs available via the draft and free agency, so there is definitely a demand there. Someone will give him a decent contract, but will they regret it? I guess we'll know in a year.
I think he’ll make more than that on the open market pretty easily, but we’ll find out soon enough.

The Vikings will end up trading Darnold and Flores to LV, for a shiny nickle

Just as many of us have been saying for months, the Vikings are not going to see Sam Darnold as the long term answer. And if he’s not the long-term answer, $38+ million is a lot to dole out for a guy when you have a high first rounder waiting in the weeds.

And if they decide to work out a contract instead of tagging Darnold, that’s more like $50 mil, which would be basically 2/3 of their available cap space.

All that for a guy who can’t buy a score in the playoffs on a neutral field.

Get real—The Vikings are not keeping Sam Darnold.
No but someone will take a flier on him. My guess. The Raiders.

Damn all of Darnold’s passes are so inaccurate.

His receivers are really helping him out now
Dude folds under mental pressure. His fails have never been about throwing the ball.

I doubt he will ever get starting qb job again. His mental capacity are factor in this.. Minnesota will offer him a backup job if he decide to stay.

Vikes were frauds.

1) Kevin O'connol's "coach of the year" stock took a huge nose dive.
2) Sam Darnold literally cost himself tens of millions of dollars
3) Brian Flores showed us why he is not a legit HC candidate.

Let me introduce you to Kirk Cousins

Yea some team is going to pay him, but he likely would have gotten 50m for 4 years if he hadnt shit the bed the last two weeks.

He'll prob get a 2 year deal now at like 25-30m. Too many qb needy teams for him not to.

38 mil? Probably not.

He'll get more money than Nick Foles after he won a SB (22 AAV).

That team will then find out without KOC, Darnold is back to being ass again.

I still remember when people here said Aaron Donald was a bust because he had a bad game against Notre Dame.

I think the Vikings should sign Darnold to a 7 year 375 million dollar contract fully gauranteed

Why would they spend over half their available cap space on a guy who’s not going to help them go deep into the playoffs?

Time to turn to Anakin Skywalker - he is the chosen one after all.

Dan Campbell swept him in the regular season.

Its not the best coach award, its an award for what coach does the most with the least.

It usually goes to the team that surprises everyone, hench KoC since the vikings were predicted to be pretty bad.

Similar to how the MVP award isnt really most valuable player. Stupid how the voting works but it is what it is. Campbell and Burrow would have won it in those scenarios then.

it's open for debate who did more with less. The Lions did sustain success after losing 2/3's of their starting Defense. Obviously the Lions did more, having swept the Vikes.
