My BIGGEST complaint with him last year. He thinks he can juke DBs for some reason after rekting them in his first season with that big ol bruising body of his.

He just needs to start buttfucking opposing DB's in the field. No beating around the bush

Bears
2nd in targets
2nd in catches
2nd in yards

Nfl tight ends
13 in catches
12 in yards

For a team challenged on offense only dipshit meatball fans want him gone.

If you're expecting a 1k yards , 100 catches, #1 receiving option (kelce, kittle, waller, etc)...you're gonna be disappointed.

If you want a decent weapon (3rd or 4th is where he's best suited) as a TE who can block or catch; he's fine.

Plus...isn't the dude still younger than about half the draft picks Poles just made 2 weeks ago?

We should be high enough in 2023 to draft Mayer.

Would rather target Brock Bowers out of UGA in 2024. He's Kelce on steroids. Outruns SEC secondaries with ease

Kmet is looking at worst a borderline top 10-12 TE.

For a 2nd round pick I'll take that.

Think his major issue last year was once he started to fumble he ended up being much less physical. Dude used to try to run over guys every time he got the ball. Seemed to stop running angry once he started dropping the rock.

Notice he only insults minorities. See the QB Competition thread

Ask the angry hustler who said it's put up or shut up time for Cement.

Is it too hard to just call him Justin Fields or to call Trevor Simien "interception Simien?"

I just ask that you be equal in your criticisms to players of all races. Thanks.

He was comp'd to Rudolph coming out and it's looking like that's his trajectory (perhaps best-case), which is a good tight end who can block quite well. At this point, I think you take Rudolph-type production with a smile on your face knowing that you'll eventually be looking for a more dynamic player at the position considering how the NFL game is changing.

Only one of those 5 in the competition has played for the Bears and has rightfully earned his nickname with 12 fumbles in limited action

As expected….

A bunch of coach talk. He’s “excited” about everything, everybody, everywhere! Kumbaya!

Let’s see if his system can bring out the best of these players.
I mean what else would you possibly expect at this time of year?
