Well, I thought you knew I was engaged, but nothing's certain as of yet since Miška needs to have everything clear the USCIS and everything clear for her K-1 Visa--which by my count is anywhere between 5 and 12 months out, then she has 6 months to fly to the US, and once she gets here, she has 90 days to get married. If that fails, then likley I'd have to figure out what the requirements are for marrying out there, or us moving somewhere else.



Even though my Dad suggested moving to California and smuggling her throuhg Mexico

I've been down that road.



Started to do the fiance VISA and realized pretty quickly it would be far easier to get married in her country, then have an official translation of the marriage license made and apply for a spouse VISA.



It took @ 4 months to get her conditional VISA/temporary green card after we were married.



Take into consideration that was 19 years ago. And yes we are still happily married.
