No thanks. Also confirmed by Caleb the best situation is Ben Johnson

Jaden Daniels has 177 rushing attempts. So much of what Kliff is doing is predicated on the threat of the QB run. To put that in perspective, David Montgomery has 192 carries.

No thanks!
Ya **** playing in the nfcc I’d rather debate which draft pick or GM will whiff on in the first round again.

So you’re interested in an offense that would have Caleb running as much as a RB2? Is that sustainable?

I tend to agree but it's so dependant on how well a QB runs the option and protects himself. My concern with Daniels coming into the NFL were him taking too many bravado hits in college on those keepers and if he'd translate to this level without as much relative talent around him compared to the competition. Seems he takes coaching well and is taking fewer of those big hits and it's messing with Ds with too much to cover. He's making great decisions and I've never seen an option run better.

I'm not going to dance on the Lions' graves like so many others seem to be doing here. What's nice about it though is that we'll now have our coach in place by the end of this week at the latest.

I think Jaden did a nice job trying to limit the hits he took last night but was still blown up a few times. That makes me cringe.

I would not lose my mind if they hired him but I think there are better choices.

I tend to agree with you but QB's get blown up in the pocket real good too. That said, our interior OL isn't mobile enough to run the option well right now.

Even if Caleb was made of steel and it was sustainable, I don't know why any OC would want that because Caleb isn't that dynamic of a running threat. Half the time when he looked to run, he'd still wind up getting sacked.
