Would you trade Rome Odunze and Darnell Wright for Kyle Shanahan? No brainer if you ask me.

It’s pretty funny how people say the Bears need an Andy Reid but if you took a coach with a resume identical to Reid’s before he joined the Chiefs they’d be saying how that’s not actually that good of a coach and blah blah blah.

At this point in his career Andy Reid had 6 outa 8 seasons with 10+ wins. KS had 4.

Also how good is KS doing this year now that he has injuries? Not too good. As I always say….. Jimmys and Joes before X’s and O’s.

If they want the offense “genius” just go get Ben J.
I’ll take him plus the 2 firsts vs KS minus the 2 firsts.

Ben Johnson doesnt seem like an offensive genius to me, an offensive genius doesnt throw the ball 34 times vs. a bottom 3 NFL rush defense.

No clue who I want as a coach at this point, but BJ doesnt really impress me as much as he does others. That detroit OL is far and away the best in the NFL, life is easy as a playcaller when you have a line like that

The Bears have approximately zero chance at competing in this division for the foreseeable future. You need a complete tear down and organizational rebuild. Tough pill to swallow after only one winning season in twelve years, but it is what it is. You are simply not competing with the manufacturing prowess of Minnesota, Green Bay and Detroit and until you can its gonna be the basement.

The first step in that is a proven guy who has nurtured elite talent. You aren’t going to even make it to third place against this competition with Rome Odunze’s and Darnell Wright’s. You need some George Kittle’s, Fred Warner’s and Christian McCaffery’s.

Well genius is in quotes because I know that’s up for debate
