Maybe but it is also a kick-ass Thai restaurant in Las Vegas. Used to have an incredible wine list especially rieslings. Although the list is still good.

Lotus of Siam
Went there the 2nd day after I moved to Vegas. I was staying at The Strat and my Dad and I decided to see what restaurants they had and Lotus of Siam is where we went. Great food. I know they're closed at the Sahara location currently but they just opened a new one up at Red Rock Casino. I haven't yet been to that one yet.
Side note: Red Rock Casino is one of my favorites. Got Lotus of Siam, a restaurant called YardHouse (few locations around Vegas) that has the most amazing brownie cookie ice cream dessert and live Keno. I haven't yet been to their pools yet but heard that they're really nice. Only downside is the traffic is a ***** by the Costco which is close to Red Rock Casino. Gone there a few times and won 3 of 4 times whether through slots or the live Keno. Good times, recommend it.

My Dad used to take me there to play in the arcade and bowling alley while he smoked and played the slots in the 80s/90s. Gold Coast will always have a special place in my heart.

Back home in Nebraska, we had this local Chinese restaurant called "Fortune Palace". Every time I go home to visit, I make a point of stopping there as I have not been able to find anything comparable in Las Vegas to both its price point (under $10 for an entire meal of chicken + fried rice) and quality for General Tso's chicken. I'm obviously willing to spend more given it's Vegas but I just need something comparable taste wise to that chicken. I know there are thousands of other dishes out there but for whatever reason, that place still have my favorite variation of General Tso's chicken. So every time I try a new place that has that on the menu, I'm forced to try it to see if it compares.
