We had some poutine at the capistrano bridge when we were in vancouver. It was good but I just about puked it all over the bridge.

Lol. Poutine comes in varying degrees of quality and stay-downdedness?

Had some Great Lakes Christmas Ale over Thanskgiving that my brother in law brought. Pretty tasty. He didn't tell me it was 7%. By the time we sat down to eat and I'd had a few of them, I was the life of the party.

When you say you are the "life of the party" I have a feeling that's not a good thing, at least for everyone else.

how's your brewing going?

It's off to a good start, there's room for improvement of course, but for just starting I think I'm doing a pretty good job. I'm a bit bummed that I can't brew this weekend. I ordered ingredients for a McAuslan Oatmeal Stout clone on Monday, but they didn't ship it until yesterday. I was hoping to possibly get it done in time for Christmas.

I still got a couple of pumpkin beers if you're into those.

Never looked into it, probably could though. Like pumpkin pie? It's spiced with clove, cinnamon, allspice, candied ginger, and vanilla. Used seven pounds of pumpkin.
