Because the Bulls decided to be foolish and let BG go, leaving Kirk as the only decent guard off the bench (which is not to say that Gordon would have come off the bench but...you get my point) unless you would rather have Pargo be your backup PG and play all of Hinrich's minutes.clonetrooper264 wrote:

If Kirk Hinrich wasn't in our plans, he would be gone and Gordon would still be here.Brad Miller is losing a step - like he already haven't. I think we need to rest the big guy and play JJ more. I'm still buzzing over the roster roles:
PG: Derrick Rose - the franchise
SG: John Salmons - the prototypical, "big-guard" that can replace Gordon offense and defend
SF: Loul Deng - right now, Rose's Robin
PF: Taj Gibson - light a fire under Ty.Thomas
C: Joakim Noah - the franchise
Kirk Hinrich - why is he still here? Obviously he's not in our plans, so why not trade him for a late lottery draft and some expiring. No way he should still be active on this roster. Defense is a common praise I hear; I disagree, we should of kept the capable defender in Sefelosha whom seems to be improving because the defense was always there. Shooting is another praise I often hear; not sure, look at his percentage, height, oh yes the height, and flat shot. He's a combo guard that really doesn't fit the bill here. Especially when the goal is to get Wade or Bosh. Seriously, no way his 30mill should still be on the books for what he brings.
Rose is the future PG. So, why is Hinrich still active on the roster?
