Got rid of cable, what is the best way to watch the games

I use a VPN and purchase NFL Game Pass through a European internet connection. Unlike the US, Game Pass in Europe broadcasts all the NFL games live. You also get the other perks of Game Pass, e.g., coaches tape, full replay of the game, condensed replay, Red Zone channel, etc. It's $189/year, so not free like these other options listed, but it's still cheaper than Directv. I got rid of DTV b/c the only thing I used it for was for watching NFL, so this option made better sense for me. I'll be looking into these cheaper options that have been posted though.

Fox is showing the games so an outdoor/attic antenna will work and actually look better than cable.

I read that directv as well as all cable companies have compression turned on which degrades the signal slightly and that open air is the absolute best you can get for picture quality.

So I tried an antenna and it did not work. I am too far out. Ended up getting locust. That worked great. Well until the courts shut them down. Back to square one.

Here is the thing. I got rid of cable/satellite because people in the house were watching it too much. So I don’t really want a solution that has a bunch of stuff. I just want the NFL games. I don’t mind paying. Anyone know a good solution for me. I definitely don’t want a bunch of porn channels. I am old with a bunch of kids.

Since I cut the cord my wife has written a novel. I doubt it ever comes to anything but I like that her and the kids are doing stuff instead of watching tv.

Any good solutions would be appreciated. Also the NFLbites seems really scetchy. Like a botnet invitation.

Many games? An Android box, Kodi and look at some forums for whatever is the latest craze for watching sports. I'd suggest trying 3 of them.

I could go see what's on my box but I really doubt if it works great because I didn't care to see any more games than I got local last year.

Get a VPN. Log in from a foreign country (I chose Mexico) - subscribe to NFL Game pass. Around $130 for the season. Download an app that plays foreign game pass. You get every game live. Can start late and rewind or fast forward as your choose. Can also watch want game going back several years. Included is NFL network, redZone, and the all 22 coaches film. Have been doing this for 2 years and the connection has been flawless. I use a fire stick.

I posted before reading this. If you want reliability I think it's the best thing going. If you purchase game pass from the US you have to wait 24 hours to watch any game. This is presumably to discourage people from not going to the game when it's so cheap to watch at home. International game pass gives you every perk and convenience. I have no problem working a shady system.

Buy a Roku device. Those things run about a hundred bucks and you can add Internet channels that allow you to stream different things. One time cost.

Then, pick up sling tv. The packages are either $20, $30, or $40 a month. Figure out which package will best cover the Gambit of you being able to watch what you want to watch.

Add the sling TV channel to Roku, and the roku's already plugged into your tv.

Now enjoy watching your sports at a fraction of the cost.

Open the game on my phone and use AirPlay to bounce the stream to my tv. It’s super easy.

If you have a yahoo email account you can watch through the app in yahoo sports.

Goto reddit on game day. I think ppl post stream links there.

If all else fails just goto the game thread here. There's always play by play bitching. So at least you'll know every dumb shit that happens in real time.
