I liked the pilot. Just a few critiques. It's a comic or it's a gangster show. It shouldn't be both. The language has no place in it to make it dark.

Really like how we are seeing how Bruce started to develop into Batman. I grew up with a kid that did those tests that he's doing to himself and more since he was convinced he was one day going to be captured.

Anyone else checking this one out?

I hope it doesn't become one of those "let's see how raunchy we can get" shows. You know, like every other prime time show is. I really dug the pilot. I'm excited to see how the bring in all the characters. I don't mind the comic/gangster infusion. I love seeing new takes on good stories.

Sex and language can't be too bad.... it is a FOX show.... if it was on HBO then you are screwed..... 10 min sex scene in every other episode.

I liked it. And I hope they limit the 'comicbookness' to children seeing their parents murdered right in front of them. Kissing and groping is just going to cross the line.

I watched it. It's got a good premise. I just worry that it's going to be too over the top. I think the premise would have been a great way to start the new batman reboot (make the first movie about the villains taking over and crippling gotham). I don't know how long it can last as a TV show but it'll probably just end up being a procedural cop show.

Just watched the second episode last night. I'm really liking it. But anybody that objects to the show getting a little sexy is a fucktard or an enormous pussy. That show is VERY fucking violent for a prime time "comic book" type show.

Who said there's no issue with violence? Excessive blood and gore are the same kind of "graphic" as a sex scene imo.

Should also note that we as a people nowadays are more desensitized to violence and language than sex ,though sex is now crawling its way up there. That doesn't make it more ok to show, but in general people will be more accepting of it as a result. That's part of it.
