I guarantee the same ones whining nonstop about this being a bad pick are the same ones that have been saying they wish the Bears had a great offense for once in their lifetime. Now it's sour grapes because they didn't draft DL or the 4th OT

What I was talking about before the draft after a month of lead up reading non-stop prognostications and seeing a billion mock drafts saying "this guy will go here." It was always meaningless yet for some reason we continue to make meaning of it year after year.
I get the positional value thing. 10 is high for TE considering there's been a lot of good ones found outside the 1st but this was a weird draft and no one else on the board figured to be an impact starter right away, let alone at 21 years old.
Also for what it's worth, I saw a scouting report that compared Loveland to Darren Waller. I'd take a prime Darren Waller all day long.
