This is definitely one of the best series I've seen in my lifetime. Four games down to the final posession pretty much? Three of them going into overtime, with one of those being double overtime? Game tying threes, game winning shots.

The Knicks vs. Heat, 1 vs. 8 matchup I believe it was, is the only first round series in my lifetime, when I was following the NBA, that even compares.

I guess I keep forgetting that the Bulls are a 7 seed and Boston is a 2.

This series has looked like a 4 vs 5 the entire series.

And if the Bulls could close out 4th quarters, the series would already be over.

Triple overtime in Game 6? You've gotta consider this one of the absolute classic series in playoffs history! There have been a total of, what, 7 overtimes in the series so far? These teams are insanely evenly matched!

I thought about the Knicks/Heat too? Was that the one with the goofy fight?

This is the most exciting first rounder I can think of and the most fun Bulls series for me. I can't call it better than the Jordon classics v. Detroit, NY, Indy, or even Cleveland. That was some of the best ball of all time. This isn't necessarily "great" playoff basketball, but the unfathomable drama is something special. I'll always remember this series, no matter what happens Saturday.

There have been 5 games where both teams would have been unlucky to lose, or equally you could say lucky to win. I don't see how you can ask for much more. I think the drama is higher than if you have a guy like Jordan too, these Bulls have no real star so different players have to chip in each game, and you never know who is going to be the hero.

That's so true. I think this series is going to have a effect on the careers of several players.

1. People are going to start to look at both Rose and Rondo as start from now on.

2. Big baby is going to get paid this summer.

3. Chicago is going to try hard to get Gordon back, and he's going to earn some serious money on the strength of his play.

4. People will finally consider Noah a legitimate Center.

5. Tyrus Thomas's jumper will begin to be respected more around the league.

Tyrus has been the one guy I'm most disappointed with in this series. He hasn't stepped up at all since hitting those jumpers in OT in game 1, and we really need him. I would have thought he might figure out how to stay had on his man and focus in the playoff intensity, but he hasn't, he's been the same onfocused guy, and I want to punch him most of the time he's on the floor.

Most overtime periods in a series(7)
Most overtime games in a series (4)
Most games in a series decided by 3 or fewer points (5)
Controversy in the game with the Rondo foul and the Hinrich/Rondo flair up.
Countless big shots to tie a game or take a lead at the end of regulation/OT to win/lose the game. The sheer amount of OTs played basically gives you twice as many big shot opportunities as in a normal series and the teams have delivered frequently (been plenty of misses too of course)

Really, if you take out game 3, the whole series belongs on ESPN classic.

There's almost no way game 7 can live up to the hype of the rest of the series. It'd take a quadruple over time last second shot where Gordon gets an and1 on a 3 pointer to win the game to come close ;)

I thought that about game 6 until the massive swings in the last quarter followed by 3 overtimes. I'm looking forward to our twelfth men duking it out in the 6th overtime period after both sides complete starting lineups have fouled out for game 7. ;)

Roberson vs House, the rematch of game 3.

In game 3, Roberson owned House.
