man, the pac10 is weak as shit, usc had their run for a while, but they blow yet again. notre dame son!!!! but if the SEC does indeed suck, explain why both teams from the national championship last football season were of the SEC variety?

This title is a little offsetting. Just because a school has a good sports program, it doesn't make it the "greatest university".

For example, I would rather go to Harvard, who hardly competes in sports, than West Virginia or Miami who both have great sports programs but aren't very prestigious schools.
