When will Illinois legalize it?

As it stands, doctors can write prescriptions for marinol only...which is a shitty substitute manufactured by big pharma. Not one plant has been approved to grow in Illinois b/c politicians and special interests reign supreme.

Your state legalized b/c juries refused to convict defendants for growing and possession. Jury nullification is a powerful tool, when they refuse to enforce the law prosecutors are forced to abandon pursuing cannabis cases.

And hopefully it is set-up properly. Illinois is charging a 25K NON-refundable app fee for medical growers, and that's just the beginning. When it is all said and done, it amounts to over $2M just to be approved. And Illinois does not allow ANY cannabis to be grown outdoors, big mistake here b/c huge warehouses cost a fortune to operate.

We already approved high CDB strains (e.g. Charlotte's Web). The grower selection process on that is very tough and expensive. Will be interesting to see what they will do if full medical passes.
