So far my favorite grilled cheese has been a wheat bread and pepperjack combo.

Do you guys also go with tomato soup with your grilled cheese?

I was telling Clone I had an idea to make grilled cheese and then smother it in chili.... I feel like if you do it right it could work out really well.

SilenceS gonna put this on his menu and Ima have to sue his ass.

i did this a couple of months ago. i put bacon on it.

I bought some Sourdough bread over the weekend and made a Gouda grilled cheese wit dat bread..... was good stuff.... I like the Sourdough recommendation.

I also used it as toast for my bacon and eggs breakfast, wuz guuud

Crys had a SD thread. He knows his stuff when it comes to that. My fatness is mostly SD bread and of course potatoes.

Crys had a SD thread. He knows his stuff when it comes to that. My fatness is mostly SD bread and of course potatoes.
I vaguely remember some talk about Panera and whether they actually had real sourdough or not lol

me too and I can't remember what Crys said. I think he said it was pretty good but not SF good but like way better than other local Chicago places.

So I like the Sour Dough bread.... and I liked my Sharp Cheddar/Gouda cheese combo.... what other cheese combos should I try?

I was thinking about trying like Mozzarella and Provolone.... we gotta have a cheese expert somewhere on the boards.

I'm thinking if you put a spread of pizza sauce on one side:

and used your Moz and Pro it would be a pizza grilled cheese to die for.
