Whispers out of Montreal of #Blackhawks and Canadiens talking trade. Hearing no names other than Moen. One or more of Hawk RFAs in play?

Softberg..

as long as they don't trade frolik....i think he's going to be great on bolland's line. They can have stalberg or chris "the turnover" campoli if they want them.

exactly!

Travis Moen? I figured all the people clamoring for ex-Blackhawks would be all over this one.

Campoli just made the wrong turnover at a very, very wrong time. I thought he was a very good acquisition and was a solid Dman on our 3rd pairings.

He wasn't part of the Stanley Cup team so therefore why would we want him?

Another 4th line grinder-type with the ability to play on the PK. He also won a Cup with Anaheim, so he'll bring even more veteran leadership to the team.

I agree about Campoli, and hope they bring him back. I am guessing that he won't be back given the pickups on defense, but I hope I am wrong.

My not wanting him because he wasn't on the Stanley Cup team line was made with tongue firmly in cheek.

I agree. I'd like to see the Hawks re-sign him. I honestly can't blame him much on the turnover. He did what he was supposed to do...pucks high off the glass almost never get turned back the other way. Just another example of how things fell for Vancouver last year, but you know what?

It didnt do them a fucking bit of good.

:lmao:

Besides his season ending turnover, I wasn't impressed at all with him during the entire series vs. Vancouver. He gave up another goal in game 2 or 3 because of a sloppy turnover.

Hahaha oops.

I vaguely remember Moen on the Hawks ... I've tried to block out everything Blackhawk-related prior to 2008. It's too depressing.

if it is moen, it is now becoming overkill with the "tough" "fire and passion" guys. im surprised burish isnt back for all the homer fans.

No reason to give much up for Moen, I'd rather not have him as it is.

I'd rather have Lars Eller, give Berg for that.

Outside of Moen, Kostitsyn is the only other affordable player with MTL, but he is a winger...not a C

which is why I think we are going to move sharp to C and get a winger. just my thoughts.

I still stand by my point of Sharp being a better winger than C
