Hmm, Jr. High perhaps??? Johnny Red Kerr attended High School at Tilden Technical, was a class mate of my fathers. Tilden was an all boys school near Midway Airport. Dad was on the Wrestling team, their pre season work out was with the Basketball team due to seasons coinciding. Pop's knew Johnny fairly well. Think either you're grandmother or my father was lying. Heh. Hmm, wonder if he transferred into Tilden. Back in the day, Dad said Tilden won all the boys state championships. 1200 boys split even down racial lines. Fight a day, Dad would say. Can't ask him now as he passed two years ago. Wikipedia states Tilden was all boy from 1918 until the 1960's.

My memory of my conversations with dad are a little vague now, he had alzheimers for 10 years or so before passing, so my lucid convo's are from long ago... But, I think he mentioned that an all girls Catholic school was located near by Tilden, and that the dating scene between the two schools was... "healthy". Perhaps that is the connection?

My grandma told me that it was in grammar school. The name of it was Perkins Bass.

Johnny Red Kerr was awesome. I grew up listening to him on WGN with Wayne Larrivee. Those were the days in the 90s.

Rami made an honest mistake with the intentions of honoring Johnny Kerr.
I spoke to Johnny through a pychic in deep meditation.
Johnny told me to tell Rami, "thanks, I forgive you and appreciate the kind gesture".
He also told me to tell FirstBoner and ShirlySparrow that God told him that they are going to Hell when they die.

Remember why I thought today was his birthday:

2nd post down, his own fan-page claimed it was his birthday.

I knew he was the same age as my grandma and that they were both born in the summer. Had it in my mind they actually were the same month because of how close in age they were.

At least I double-checked the minute after I posted the thread and noted the mistake.

At least the tr0llz got their shits n giggles

He made a funny post.

Stop being butthurt.

Yeah. Because when a select couple of posters consistently call you wrong and look for mistakes (that often times aren't even there) in your posts (in nearly every thread/post you make) it is not getting cyber-bullied. It is called me being butt-hurt and just laugh because he made a funny.

It was also funny when they "thread bombed" ccs this morning.

Wasn't it Kerr's birthday a couple weeks ago? Where was Rami's notification??

Actually I was right in the OP. I made the thread near his actually birthday. Then right after I made the thread, I checked Wikipedia and thought I somehow got it wrong.

But actually I was right and wikipedia was wrong.

Happy Birthday to Johnny Kerr.
I hope his spirit jumps into PaX-GAR-Reinsdorffs body so they do somthing.
I'm pretty sure he would be dissapointed in them right now.
Plus I can imagine what Norm Van Lier would think about them now.
