I think Quick will get the Conn Smythe if the Kings make the Final, win or lose.

He astounds me how he fights to see the puck and how low he gets it his stance. Not sure if I have seen someone get that low and fight through traffic for the puck like Quick does. To me it's unusuall.

Browns getting some pretty high praises right now for the last 2 series.

Kopitars the best all around playet in the league

I've been saying that Kopitar is one of the only few players in this league that give me boners and its definitely not cause of his face. He's got some wicked sick skills. I just wish he wasn't a King... lol

It would be a travesty if he wasn't getting it.

Right now, The Kings are eerily reminding me of the 2002-2003 Ducks team that made it to the SCF but didn't win it. They lost to the Devils in 7 games.

he made some disgusting defensive plays today. He is always overlooked as a defensive forward but he is a good one. When he isn't putting up numbers hes back checking hard and smart..and that's the type of player I love.

Kings are clicking. Just hope the days off aren't going to hurt them. These games in the East are going to go long by the smell of things.

Kings are firing on all the cylinders at the right time. Blues were pretenders after all. Right now they look to be the favourites moving forward.

It was a fun ride this year. A huge improvement over the last few years. Definitely don't have anything to compain about. Our immaturity and lack of a top end talent showed itself this series. Reminds me of the season the Hawks lost in the PO's before they won the cup. We will have to get some top end talent before we can win the cup, but we should be a PO team going forward for sure. Definitely can't wait until next year. Training camp here we come!

I will be sorely dissapointed if the kings DON'T run roughshod over the Coyotes.

I think we would see a mass suicide in LA. Bettman will immediately order a redo and/or declare the Kings the winner as not to lose ratings.

Are you kidding? I agree with the mass suicide in LA (they'd just move to Portland or Seattle), but Bettman would be milming his underoos with the prospect of Phoenix in the SCF.

How do you figure? Unless you mean in order to sell the franchise and use it as a positive to relocate the team?

That was not Chicago in 2009...top end talent was there for Chicago..lack of playoff experience did them in.

This Blues teams will be more like Nashville, possible perennial playoff team but can't afford the top end talent to get them over the top.

Bettman has a hardon for keeping the team in Phoenix. Showing that the team can win and showing it's potential revenue-generation by being a deep-playoff contender would go a long way in attracting a buyer that would keep the team there.

Yea, that's why I said we will still have to get some more top end talent if we want to win the cup. Hopefully Taransenko is as good as advertised.

Ah true. I have heard a lot of grumble that the arena is in a terrible location and that has a lot to do with the lack of fan support, but the Cardinals play next door and don't have any issues.

Add the sport itself as a reason. The concept of hockey in Arizona, even though its been 15 yrs now, is still foreign to them out there.

Being in Glendale definitely doesn't help.
