Yes but Christmas is like an oasis of happy in the middle of Winter for alot of people.... so its all good :D

It’s more at the beginning of winter. Because afterward it’s still cold and dark and there’s nothing to look forward to for about 3 months.

If I could crawl into a hole and hibernate from the beginning of January to the end of March I would.

Question... For Christians, is it actually offensive to be wished "happy holidays"? I was at Target last night behind an older couple and as they were leaving, the young cashier happily wished them happy holidays with a genuine smile on her face, which is rare to see from someone in the retail industry this time of year. The older woman turned around as if she'd been slapped and angrily spat out "merry Christmas!" and stomped off with her husband, clearly proud of herself for defending her desire to keep Christ in Christmas. It made me want to vomit. It took everything I had not to make a snotty comment back to that old *****.

Does anyone else take offense to being wished happy holidays? Am I crazy for thinking that woman was a ***** to the young girl behind the register?

My advice, don't worry about being politically or religiously, as the case may be, correct. Just know you'll piss off people along the way and laugh it off.

Yup...The church was very smart not to "outlaw" the Pagan holidays..They just added their own over the top of em and eventually the Pagan holidays were overcome by the masses of Christians, thereby making the Pagan holidays lost in the shuffle

You think thats what really happened? Or maybe christianity is just the latest revision of a belief system dating back to Sumer.
