Version 2.0. What Im really thankful for; Thanksgivings amazing foods that I dont enjoy at any other time of the year, and the few Family members I have. Food thats been cooked from my Gramma to my Mom and onto my Sister. Its good to be the test subject in a family that can cook. Despite hardships, its truely the only time that its forgotten. My Gramma, for always there whether for advice, or in this case, Jays going 360 shopping

my cheapskate uncle told my mom that all the leftovers are going into his freezer. so i plan on eating until im about to explode then purging, only to do it all over again. my goal is to eat 10 pounds of turkey tomorrow. wish me luck....

We moved to america from the west coast of africa not long ago. It took my family some years to celebrate thanksgiving. Today is nothing special to us but we still eat the turkey, ghana style!
I would say that I am thankful for being here. We came here to get away from all of the bad political things at home. You know it's just as bad here, except that its maybe more stable in the United States. You can not be a human being, and expect an honest and safe life anymore. This is sad for me, and thinking about a holiday like this, makes me angry that so many americans take one set of freedoms for granted(shopping) but give up another set(life ambition.)
