Hate the Packers, but Jordan Love would be the best Bears QB in history

that's why I keep telling people to let the whole Watson/Mahomes thing go. neither of those players were going to become what they did. the best they could produce was... Trubisky. Watson is a thing of the past and Mahomes is becoming exposed without his all star receiving talent to catch every ball that he throws. just something to ponder.
Mahomes is still on pace for 4K yards and 30tds.

Quickest way to end this debate.

Do you think the Packers would trade Love for Fields straight up?

I’m pretty sure he wouldn’t trade Love for Goff either. Because he knows Goff will fold in the postseason like he’s always done.

This shit is depressing, guys.

Jordan Love isn’t anything special. But it just goes to show how terrible an organization the Bears are, and how the fans have been gaslit into accepting sub-par expectations for decades.

Someone is getting out over their skies on this. Lets let things play out.

Love has had a good season and has played well enough to be the starter for the foreseeable future. In the end though that may work in the Bears favor as not sure he really scares anyone. His ceiling appears to be as a more mobile Jared Goff ie not really Super Bowl winning caliber.

If Love wasn't being propped up by better coaching and surrounding talent last week the Bears wouldn't have the top pick all but locked up. You could even make the argument that Carolina could have won that game if the two teams swapped qbs. However the counter argument is: name a qb who went on to have a great career after leaving Chicago. There are a few in recent memory who looked like dogshit with the Bears after putting up good numbers elsewhere. It does make the rumors that the top qb prospect wants nothing to do with Chicago hard to dismiss. If Fields ends up taking Washington or Atlanta to the playoffs next year it will say a lot.

Erik Kramer in 1995 IMO was the best ever Bears QB at least statistically in modern history.

16 games started
29 TD
10 INT
3,838 yards
7.4 YPA
93.8 Rating

If we compare that apples to apples to Jordan Love, Kramer beats him on YPA, Rating and INT. TDs and Yards would be about even for 16 games. As it was mentioned though, 1995 was a lot different and QBs did not get the stats that they do recently.

That said, other than the Giants game, Love has played well the last month or so. They do a great job of scheming guys open and he anticipates the read. The receivers are young but they have done a great job making highlight level catches as well. And their offensive line does a great job pass protecting. So it all goes hand in hand. Love looks like he can be a good QB in this league. He doesn't look to have the down field accuracy or arm strength though to be elite. He does need to work on his footwork so that can improve the accuracy a bit.
Specs yes but I take a healthy McMahon every day.

Food for thought, Remydumbass said the same thing about Stafford, then told us how good Claypoop was.

This is dumb. Mahomes and Watson may not have been as good on the bears but they certainly wouldn't have been trubisky either
you're right. they would still be able to throw completed passes deep.

I dont complain about you posting here as stupid people should have the same rights as smart people. It is also better for you and society if you get most of your stupidity out of your system via harmless message board posting. Otherwise you are libel to say or do something stupid in the real world that gets you or others hurt.
