WTF does that have to do with him grabbing rebounds, passing the ball, and getting steals? For crying out loud...that is just silly. The fact is Rondo is a very good player. You should have noticed that in 2007 when he crapped all over the Bulls through half that series. You also act like those hall of famers are in their prime. They don't win if Rondo doesn't progress. Shaq is old, so is Allen and Garnett. Not to say they are not good players, they are not great players anymore...period.

Rondo is a good player. I hate him, I think he's overrated, but he's a good player. He is greatly aided by playing w/ 4 future HOFers, but Shaq is about done, and Ray-Ray has more off-games than on-games anymore. That being said, Pierce and Garnett are still beastly...They have off-games from time-to-time, but they're still great players.

completely serious. rose is a better player than rondo, but rondo isn't piggybacking on the big 3 anymore. I'd like to see how he plays when boston rebuilds, but at the moment rondo is a great fit for boston. he can't shoot, but he's an all star role player. the guy does everything you want your role players to do, but he's clearly the best player on his team as a defensive point that steals, rebounds, gets assists, and scores on open shots etc...

That is what comes with stardom. Praise when you do well, and if you have an off game, you get criticized for it. Bull fans shouldn't take it so critical.

it's partially the reason why all bulls fans are so hesitant to admit he's a good player. ( myself included) we hate the guy. passion trumps reason. c'est la vie.

Chicago fans need to realize that without derrick rose this whole team would be in the dumps. His ability to score as a point guard is phenomenal. As the superstar of a team, aren't you supposed to shoot? Even the greats had those 12-32 nights. He doesn't get injured, he averages 24 and 8, and in my opinion, is the 3rd best PG in the NBA behind Paul and Williams. Please respond I want to hear your opinions.

When you turn the ball over 7 times in one game, you deserve criticism(not hate). It doesnt matter what this team would be without him, he played bad and it cost us. The Bears wouldnt win most of their games without Jay Cutler but when he throws 4 INTS, hes going to get ripped. LeBron and Wade get ripped, Kobe gets ripped, they all do when they play bad. You dont have to suck their dicks every game they play and pretend like they were perfect.

We've heard so much the past two seasons about him working on his mid-range jumper and then his 3pt shot, how come i never hear about him trying to work on his defense?

His shot selection was poor. His defense was awful. His passing was atrocious. He didnt bother to set up the offense for anyone.

Our team would be shit without Rose, that doesnt mean its ok for him to play bad and have us blame everyone else but him. The best player gets most of the glory, he should get much of the criticism. Im as big a Rose fan as anyone, i wont sit here and make excuses for him.

I'm not making excuses for him. I'm putting the blame where it should be, on the TEAM. Rose got picked off on a ton of screens and the defensive rotations weren't there. The man had 6 STEALS! When was the FIRST time he's had that many steals in a game? Most of the those steals saved fast breaks.

Say what you will about him not getting his team involved, but I saw people bricking shots, dribbling out of wide open shots he got them and otherwise not converting. He had a lot of turnovers, but the TEAM had 22 and the Knicks had 24! It was a sloppy game all around.

He was getting screened! It's not like dudes were just beating off the dribble the whole time. Most of the times he got "beat were on screens with no rotations to back him up.

They were lucky that NY didn't hit half the shots they had open because there were many.

But we knew that, Defense has never been his strong suit. We're gonna struggle without #13 out there, his presence on the defensive end is severely missed.

Bottom line Rose night in and night out gives it his all how can you knock a guy with that mentality. He may take many shots, but if his shot isn't working he does have the ability to drive and kick. Which brings up my argument.. WHERE IS THE F*CKING shooting? Bulls desperately need to acquire someone to start at SG instead of bogans, or a solid 3 point shooter to come off the bench. Imagine how much the floor can be spread with korver and one more consistent 3 pt shooter. This would open the lane for Rose, and also free boozer and the other forwards down low. They desperately need Noah back to take some of the pressure off of Boozer and Rose. I think if this team can aquire a SG like Stephen Jackson, or OJ Mayo(whos struggling I know) they will be a legit threat to at least make the Eastern Conference Finals.
