I would love to play, but having never really been on the ice before I'm not sure that's such a great idea. I do want to participate though and will be happy to drop you a check for my wife and I once I confirm we are good that weekend. Great Job Bob!!

Play anyway ya puss. It will be my 3rd time and I am terrible.

Way to go Klem!

I just checked the Blackhawks schedule. There is home game the night before vs. Islanders and the next home game after is Monday vs. Coyotes.

Oh shit. I may not be able to come. We are heading to St. Louis for that game. ****! I will be there in spirit though.

Cool deal. We might be able to make it. Depends on if a group of us are going to watch the 'Hawks and Blues that night. Will let you know, though I might just make a donation anyway.

What kind of jerseys are we going to be receiving? Any information on that? Are they going to be Icehogs jerseys or something custom? Just curious. Would be cool to at least get some numbers thrown on the back of them.

where do you get your equipment I will play if I could borrow or rent some

Play it Again sports is a start. Otherwise I might have some extra stuff that has been sitting in a bag in my crawlspace for the past 15 years. The smell will eventually go away.

I thought about play it again but I don't want to spend money on something I may not physically be able to do again ever. And isn't hockey equipment expensive used or not

They're basic sweaters with the Skate logo and your number. These were from 09.

I should be in AMA Klemmer, how much "equipment" will be required per the hogs? And I too since the stroke will probably fit into the Jako level of talent I'm guessing so stop being panzies and play.

I actually got some stuff from an old poster. Shin guards, elbow pads, hockey pants, and I think that was it. I need to get a helmet, but I think I have seen em online for like 30 bucks.

Check out http://www.hockeymonkey.com/clearance.html. there are some other discount hockey equipment stuff too. I know Klemmer has said you don't need to be outfitted like a pro, so you may be able to get some stuff for cheap.

Most important things... aside from skates. Shin pads to protect your knees when you fall. Pants to protect your hips when you fall. Elbow pads to protect your elbows when you fall. A helmet for both heads(getting hit in the balls would hurt). Cheap hockey gloves will be just fine.

Mass, how big a guy are you? I have an old pair of pants and shin pads that somebody can use. I have a helmet too, but it's kind of small. If you have a small head, it would probably fit.
