I feel like Eberflus is the apex of Bears dysfunction. It is the culmination of years of incompetence under the Football Fredo, George McCaskey.

Who the **** hired Flus? It's pretty much Poles job to hire and fire the guy and he publicly supported him, so I'm pretty sure it's him. But in what other organization is there doubt about who is actually running things than a dysfunctional one? George hired Poles and said that he would report directly to him, until when he hired Warren and said that Poles would then report to him. What kind of HR tomfoolery is that? Now you have this three headed chimera of chaos where responsibility and blame is shifted from one to another. Out of the 3 Stooges, no one could tell that after watching 2 years of Everlose that he was a shit coach. Instead, they decided to run around in shit on their shoes for another year. They didn't even try to upgrade the most important position on a football team, the head coach. For real, did anyone think that Flus could win a Super Bowl? If not, let the dude find greener pastures.

Flus finally got fired, but they couldn't even get that right. They didn't decide whether he was staying or going until after he did his presser. For real, what kind of crap decision making process made them come to a conclusion that late or handle a firing that poorly? I don't think the teenage manager at a McDonalds would handle it that poorly.

Unfortunately, the three stooges are still running things. Warren was hired to direct football operations and get a new stadium built, but doesn't seem to make much progress in either. Poles single handedly destroyed the locker room with various dumb moves and decisions, and gets another chance to decimate it even more. He's starting to be like the Kathy Bates character in Misery. And of course we still have the main stooge in Fredo McCaskey who will insure that dysfunction continues since he's the glue for it all.

I have seen some dysfunctional teams under Mike McCaskey, but little bro George takes it to a whole new level of suckage. The Trestman era was bad, but the Flus era is peak Bears dysfunction, IMO.

Bears ineptitude is hitting all the great OGs at staggering numbers this season.

The dysfunction continues, because every time you think the Bears hit rock-bottom, they outdo themselves. Fire a coach who should have been fired weeks and/or months ago after he freezes in the final seconds of a game and walks off the field with a timeout in his pocket? Sure, we can do that. Then, we can do this:

Why am I supposed to believe this Tweet about Kevin Warren? Why am I supposed to even consider it to be the truth?

Why would anyone consider it to be truthful?

The same reason that you want your retweets and sourceless opinion ccs ‘articles’ to be truthful?

The bears have always been dysfunctional.
it turned epic the day george Halas died
I will always remember in 1986 when Mikey McCasket announced he wanted a team with HIS name on it instead of the Papa Bear team that just won the SB in historic fashion.. That was the start of the "epic" dysfunction. Its been a slow descent into hell ever since.

The Jim McMahon book exposes a lot about how screwed up this franchise is

Seems short sighted. There’s lots of disfunction in sports. Browns/Commanders?/Titans/Panthers/Jaguars/cowboys/raiders/Jets etc… So Many teams have disfunction between ownership meddling with operations or just bad management all together… Bears aren’t cheap like they used to seem, they’re at least trying to get a new stadium, you rarely hear ownership bitching or in disagreement with the staff. It could get way worse. I don’t understand complaining about it. Firing the coach should be a good sign, they’re not okay with the product on the field and it seems they’re in alignment. If they kept trotting Flus’s corpse on the field, then we may have something to discuss…

We hope it is peak dysfunction - That would mean it can only get better from here.
