  1. Chicago Cubs
  1. Chicago Bears
I'm a non-believer but I'll share mine, not much of a sighting but here goes:

It was 1997 and I was 12 years old. I had lost my grandmother and favorite person the year earlier and I had moved into her old bedroom after her passing. A music video by Jewel was playing on the TV and near the end of the song there was a distinct, yet faint "whistle" of a sound that didn't feel altogether out of place considering the song. No big deal. Commercial break comes and goes and next up is the newest Metallica video... Yeah, 3 minutes later, near the end of the song, came the same whistle.

I kind of jumped out of my seat and my skin got cold. I was the world's biggest pussy growing up but this didn't scare me. It was the opposite. I wanted it to be real so badly that I was afraid to go back and listen to either song, even though doing so would have confirmed what I was hoping. I just wanted to leave it alone. I told myself I wasn't scared because I wasn't supposed to be, that wasn't the intent.

Anyway, I think its the whole: If you let your mind take you for a walk, it will and then some, power of suggestion, etc. etc. Impressionable minds and such. I heard what I heard whether it happened or not, and I was 12 lol.

We used to go (illegally) to the old Bartonville Mental Hospital, which I believe was at one time the State hospital for the insane. Rumors of testing on the residents. Lots of numbered graves, no names. Creepy fucking place. Anyway, I go in to this building and right away I sensed something. It was a hot summer night but all of the sudden I got freezing cold. Freaked the **** out, I backed out of the place immediately and as soon as I crossed the thresh-hold of the door it slammed shut. No wind mind you and nobody else in there.

I never saw anything there, but you can't tell me the negative energy wasn't palpable.

Never went back and choose not to think about it most of the time. Think most of the buildings have been torn down now.

Did it sound like your grandma whistling?

When you feel the temperature drop it means whatever there is trying to manifest itself, you should have stuck around another couple of minutes.

I will attempt to be serious. In 1995 I was hurt bad. Had surgery everyday for 10 days. My dad who was killed when I was 7 came to me twice. Maybe it was morphine or who knows.

Holy cow, that's actually pretty amazing, what did he say to you? Was it life threatening surgery? You could have been on deaths door and he came to comfort you in your final moments.

Surgery sucks...
In 1968 I had a 7 day surgery.
Multiple doctors working in shifts.
They said at the time it was the largest circumcision on record.

I'm more intrigued about the injury that you sustained that caused you to have surgery for 10 straight days.

Hard to talk about it. It was a tough time. He told me I would be ok. Talking about it now makes me cry .He's still there watching over me.

Have you guys ever asked yourselves why ghost wear clothes?

Most likely because the spirits themselves have an image of who they were and what they either preferred to wear, or was wearing at the time of its passing.

I am now determined to come back and haunt this plane of existence as a naked ghost.

I will spend the rest of eternity making people really uncomfortable in strange places like the produce section or the middle of a crowded intersection.
