Ducks beat the Hawks without Perry. Props to them.

They're a tough ass team. Wish the Hawks were as physical as them.

Ducks also beat the Hawks without Sharp and Hossa...would have been a different game with all 3 of those guys in. Would have still been a great game, so I don't see the point.

Tough loss tonight. Thought Crawford played well enough to get a win.

I liked the line of Saad/Toews/Kane, seems like those 3 can really feed off eachother. Kane played over 25 minutes tonight, that won't keep up.

Thought Hayes/Bolland were almost invisible tonight. Oduya also had one of his worst games of the year with to many turnovers in the middle of the ice. Blackhawks overall had too many blueline turnovers which cost them on two of the goals tonight.

Keith had a real good game. Active stick and used his speed. Same goes for Frolik/Kruger who continue to play well on that 4th line.

Hawks definitely missed Sharp and Hossa tonight. Hossa is such a game-changer, it is ridiculous.

Blackhawks next game is Monday which will be a nice rest for the team. They will be able to re-evaluate the injury situation with Hossa (and Carcillo quite frankly) and will be able to call up a player if needed. Might even see a trade swung in that time, supposedly a lot of chatter going on.

That was very frustrating. Got the impression that meant much much more to the Ducks than the Hawks.

Actually, it doesnt mean much to either team other than bragging rights. They're just playing for
tournament seeds now. Neither team has much trouble winning on the road, so grabbing home
ice for the playoffs is negligible. They'll be the top two seeds for sure.

Oh I know, But watching it O just got the feeling that the Ducks wanted to "show" the Hawks something.

they showed them what happens when you keep turning the puck over in your own end of the ice

Oh yay, HawkPoser's expert analysis is here.

Go away already.

You complain about lack of posting in this forum and then you ***** when I post my analysis of the game...makes complete sense.

Once again everyone, I would like to apologize for talking hockey in this forum. Clearly it is an inconvenience for a select few when I do.

Yes.
The Ducks were far more aggressive than the Hawks. The Ducks were playing with a real sense of urgency tonight.
