I guess, but reading jesse rogers for hockey info is almost as useless as listening to Glenn Beck or Rush Limbaugh for politics...ALMOST
Bloggerz and stuffz :yeah:so tbo, who do you suggest to read?
As a casual Blackhawk fan, and with limited knowledge of the ins and outs of the game, it was a nice piece to read :dunno:
Yeah, Jesse is fine.
Yes he's up the Hawks' ass too far to be really objective, but he's not alone in that respect. I still think that particular perspective is worth a glance along with the differing views that are out there.
As for his player grades...
-Crawford getting a C- is generous
-Bowman can have an F
-He's a little harsh on Leddy. His deficiencies are a result of managmenet/coaching decisions.
-Kruger's B+ and Stalberg's A- are clearly based on expectations more than actual performance. That's not really how grading works, but whatever.
-Bickell is still an enigma to me. Why he doesn't bring the effort we saw late this year all the time makes zero sense to me. It's not like he already has a fat contract (or even a concrete roster spot)... he needs to play to impress every night, yet he doesn't.

Joe, you still haven't answered the question, you asked if he meant as far as players, you were answered, and then you don't post?

Sassone is the best beat writer.
There are some pretty good bloggers out there. I personally like 2nd city hockey.
Otherwise, I really don't read much on the Hawks.

Maddow and Olbermann are pretty shitty too.
Jesse's obvious man-love for Byfuglien and Versteeg is what annoys me about him. He's so quick to bring up those names in Twitter comments and his articles.
Not total garbage as a writer, but sometimes he's too much of a fan and not enough of a journalist.
As for his grades ...
BMo and Bruno deserves Fs, I think.
Hjalmarsson is a C at best.
Agreed with EDIB on Leddy, that's a harsh grade. B-, methinks.
I thought Lepisto played better than a C-, I still don't understand why Q scratched him so often. Not a top-4 guy at all but a decent 5/6 guy, I thought.
If Bowman gets a D+, no way Q deserves a C. Those two each had brutal seasons. Although I do agree with his point about a good draft class saving Bowman from an F.
he doesnt know. he really only reads guys that cover all the teams like mac and what not.
In chicago:
Tim Sassone
Barry Rozner
Jay Zawaski
the last 2 are on the score now and again. most of them write with much critique when it comes to the hawks.
Who is mac?
I read Sassone all the time before he got sick. Is he writing again?
Zawaski is a blogger even though you think he is a genius
